SNEC 2025 Live | WG Energy Unveils All-Scenario Energy Storage and Charging Solutions

From June 11th to 13th, the 18th SNEC (2025) International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition grandly opened at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center. WG Energy showcased its full range of solutions, including the cabinet-based distributed storage matrix, containerized storage matrix, and SST-direct ultra-fast charging matrix. Intelligent Power Router: Ushering in the Ultra-Fast Charging Era

For electric vehicle CCS and MCS charging scenarios, WG Energy introduced its power router-based direct ultra-fast charging matrix. Utilizing solid-state transformer (SST) technology to replace traditional transformers and converters, the system enables full-chain power electronics architecture, delivering the "Four Extremes" charging experience:

· Extreme Completeness: Integrated storage-charging design with separated electrical and mechanical systems, fully functional and compatible with all vehicle models;

· Extreme Simplicity: Modular, high-frequency, and DC-based design reduces land footprint by 15%, grid capacity usage by 20%, and conversion equipment size by 38%;

· Extreme Speed: Supports MW-level ultra-fast charging, achieving 100 km of range in 1 minute for a superior charging experience;

· Extreme Efficiency: Silicon-over-copper design eliminates no-load loss, reaching system efficiency up to 97.5%, 5% higher than traditional AC solutions.

WG's in-house developed solid-state transformer adopts an economical compact hybrid three-level topology, cutting costs by over 50% while achieving peak efficiency of 98.5%, offering high-efficiency, reliable solutions for hybrid AC/DC grids, flexible interconnection, EV ultra-fast charging, and energy storage.


 

“Super Cool Drive” Liquid-Cooled PCS: Flexible for Multi-Scenario Applications

WG's newly launched 430kW high-power string-type liquid-cooled PCS features intelligent liquid-cooling technology, reducing footprint by 10% with ultra-low power consumption and 1% higher cycle efficiency. It is compatible with cell capacities ranging from 314Ah to over 600Ah, supporting both distributed stacking and centralized array system integration, meeting diverse demands in C&I storage and grid-side storage applications. The system operates quietly (<70dB) and flexibly adapts to capacity needs, with maximum single-unit power output up to 5000kW.


 

3rd Generation Matrix Storage Cabinet "YiLiFang": Balancing Safety and Performance

The 3rd generation matrix storage cabinet “YiLiFang” integrates advanced power electronics throughout the battery and grid sides, equipped with proprietary Battery Cluster Controller (BCS) and grid-forming PCS. It realizes active bypass, active safety, and active balancing for a truly intelligent storage system:

· Active Bypass: Supports bypassing 30%+ abnormal modules while maintaining continuous operation;

· Early Warning: Monitors EIS and internal resistance in real time, providing thermal runaway warnings 20 minutes in advance;

· Active Balancing: Real-time dynamic module-level electro-thermal safety management with SOC self-balancing, improving usable energy per cycle by 6%, controlling cell temperature deviation within 2°C, and extending cycle life by 25%.

 


 

Multi-Scenario Storage Solutions: Powering Diverse Energy Applications

WG offers a full range of solutions tailored to various application scenarios, supporting diversified revenue models and multi-layer safety assurance:

· Medium-Voltage Containerized Solutions: For medium-to-large scale C&I storage and grid-side storage (10kV/35kV access), supporting peak shaving, frequency regulation, and energy arbitrage;

· Low-Voltage Cabinet Solutions: For small C&I solar-storage-charging microgrids, enabling TOU arbitrage, demand management, and emergency backup;
