The Smart Cluster Project of PV-Storage-Charging DC Microgrid for century-old historic buildings in Amsterdam was officially shipped on July 17, 2025. This batch of equipment marks the first shipment to the Netherlands via the China Railway Express. Supported by groundbreaking technologies including full DC integration of PV, energy storage and charging within microgrids, multi-ring DC networking between microgrids, grid-connected/off-grid DC power supply and distribution, as well as multi-source and multi-terminal DC droop grid-forming for electric router clusters, the project deeply integrates photovoltaic generation, energy storage and charging, with DC hydrogen production and storage to be expanded in the second phase. By adopting advanced PV-storage coordinated control algorithms, it achieves optimal dynamic matching of energy generation, storage and consumption.
The project was successfully delivered on November 10, 2025, in the Tacheng Key Development and Opening-up Pilot Zone. The complete system is applied to the Tacheng Boiler Solar-Storage Integration Project, adopting a direct-connected energy storage matrix solution. It is equipped with 4 self-developed Solid-State Transformers (SSTs) and 26 units of 385kWh modular DC energy storage cabinets, arranged side-by-side to form 4 independent operating units. The total installed capacity is 5.00 MW with a site energy capacity of 10.01 MWh. The maximum system operating efficiency is 98.25%, and the total harmonic distortion rate (THDI) is 2.75%. Currently, it has achieved stable operation in an extremely cold environment (ambient temperature ≤ -30℃).
Located at the South Factory of GEM (Wuxi) Energy Materials Co., Ltd. in Xinwu District, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, this project was officially put into operation on April 1, 2025. Equipped with 18 units of 344kWh Energy Storage Cabinets and one 20kVA Transformer Station, the energy storage system has a designed capacity of 2MW/6.192MWh, realizing stable operation and flexible dispatching of the energy storage system. The external cables of the system are connected to the incoming line cabinet of the transformer station through the energy storage grid-connection cabinet in the power distribution room on the 2nd floor, which respectively meet the power needs of the PCS devices of the energy storage cabinets, as well as the control of the transformer station and energy storage cabinets, fully adapting to the power supply needs for the project's production and operation.
Located along the coast of the Beibu Gulf in the western part of Lemin Town and Hetou Town, Suixi County, Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, this project relies on the Suixi Jianghong Lemin 100MW Wind Power Project (dispatching name: 110kV Lefeng Wind Farm), with the energy storage area covering an area of about 520m2. Equipped with 3 battery cabins and 3 PCS cabins, the project provides stable support for wind power grid connection. As a national mandatory energy storage supporting project, it completed trial operation on January 5, 2026 and is currently recognized as an "existing station" by the dispatching department, contributing to new energy consumption and power grid stability.
This is Shandong’s first set of 10kV Direct-Connected Solid-State Transformer (SST) PV-Storage-DC-Flexible System, deployed at the State Grid Bus Charging Station in Yitang, Linyi. It is equipped with one 10kV/1250kVA SST connected to the medium-voltage grid, supplying a 750V DC bus to enable unified dispatch of PV, energy storage and EV chargers. The project supports diversified charging demands, improving charging efficiency by 50% compared with conventional systems. It features a megawatt-level liquid-cooled supercharging gun and 6 V2G charging ports. By integrating voltage transformation, rectification and power distribution, it reduces AC/DC conversion stages and builds an efficient and green new energy supply ecosystem.
