SST E³Stack-385I
Delivered on November 10, 2025, the boiler PV-ESS integrated project located in Tacheng Key Development and Opening-up Pilot Zone adopts an SST direct-connected energy storage matrix solution. Equipped with 4 self-developed Solid-State Transformers (SSTs) and 26 units of 385 kWh modular DC energy storage cabinets, the system forms four independent operation units with a maximum operational efficiency of 98.25%.
Supported by coordinated PV-storage control and intelligent cloud platform management, the system delivers multiple benefits including cost reduction via peak-valley arbitrage, heating supply guarantee under harsh conditions and enhanced renewable power absorption, bringing outstanding economic returns. Breaking the technical bottlenecks of high-voltage grid connection for conventional energy storage systems, this solution suits high-altitude regions in Northwest China with extreme low temperatures down to -30°C and can be widely replicated for similar PV-ESS projects.
