Located at the 110 kV Lefeng Wind Farm in Suixi, Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province, this energy storage project is a mandatory supporting storage facility for the local 100 MW wind power project. It finished trial operation in January 2026 and is categorized as an existing power station by power dispatching authorities. Equipped with 3 battery containers and 3 PCS converter containers, the system reaches a capacity of 12.2 MW/12.2 MWh to deliver stable support for wind power grid connection.
Adopting a modular multi-container coordinated architecture with complete auxiliary equipment for safe and reliable operation, the system effectively smooths wind power fluctuations, matches the operating conditions of wind farms, and flexibly responds to peak regulation dispatching orders. It significantly improves wind power absorption and provides an optimal supporting solution for the safe and stable grid integration of regional new energy sources.
