Against the backdrop of accelerating global energy transformation, the Kunshan Lu Yang Middle School DC Charging Station project, invested and constructed by PetroChina Jiangsu Suzhou Sales Branch, has recently been officially commissioned. For this project, WG Energy demonstrated outstanding execution capability by completing the delivery and system integration of the core intelligent component—a 1000kW charging Solid-State Transformer (SST) along with one 385kWh DC storage cabinet—within a rapid three-day timeframe. The “Smart Brain” of the PV-Storage-Charging System

WG Energy’s SST plays an irreplaceable core role in this project:

Efficiently utilizes on-site green power: Intelligently manages the 800 kW PV system installed on the school rooftop, achieving a closed-loop energy cycle of “self-consumption and surplus storage”.

Smart multi-energy flow management: As the energy hub, it enables real-time coordination of PV generation, storage, grid power, and charging loads, ensuring optimal energy distribution.

 

Direct 10 kV high-voltage grid connection: Eliminates the need for traditional power transformers, achieves an impressive system efficiency of 98.5%, and significantly improves overall energy utilization.

This project establishes a tri-brid smart energy system integrating “rooftop PV + battery storage + intelligent charging”:

 

Efficient PV utilization: The SST prioritizes the 800 kW rooftop PV power generated on campus, directing it to charging terminals to maximize on-site consumption of clean energy.

Intelligent storage control: Through coordinated operation with the 385 kW DC storage cabinet, the SST enables temporal and spatial shifting of energy, balancing generation and demand.

Smart charging management: Charging power is dynamically allocated based on real-time PV output, maximizing the utilization of green electricity.
