Preamble

The 19th International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition (SNEC 2026) grandly kicked off at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre on June 3. On the opening day, WG Energy became a major highlight of the exhibition with the global launch of the AIDC Solid-State Transformer (SST) Xihe 2.0. The company also signed multiple strategic cooperation agreements with a host of partners.

New Product Launch: A Decade of R&D Prowess
Helios 2.0 Sets New Benchmarks for Power Supply in AIDC

At the new product launch event, WG Energy officially unveiled Helios 2.0, an SST exclusively developed for large-scale computing clusters such as AI large model training platforms and high-performance computing systems.

The product supports 10kV medium-voltage direct conversion to 800V DC. It achieves a system efficiency of up to 98.6% and a power density of 172.5 W/dm³. Compared with traditional UPS solutions, it cuts floor space occupation by 65%.

Equipped with full silicon carbide (SiC) power devices and a high-frequency isolation topology, Helios 2.0 boasts three core competitive strengths:

Ultimate Energy Efficiency: The end-to-end efficiency reaches 98.6%, an improvement of over 5 percentage points against conventional solutions. The current unbalance of a single module is less than 3%. Adopting full-range soft-switching technology, it ensures low-loss operation across all working conditions.

Long-term Reliability & Comprehensive Protection: The product applies components compliant with automotive-grade performance standards and has passed 1,000-hour tests under extreme operating conditions. Its hybrid bypass switch enables microsecond-level seamless switching. Even if a single module malfunctions, the entire unit can maintain 100% full-load output. Dual active redundancy and dual network redundancy guarantee zero power interruption for computing infrastructure.

Enhanced Grid Compatibility & Robust Performance: It supports High Voltage Ride-Through (HVRT) and Low Voltage Ride-Through (LVRT) with millisecond-level dynamic response, completing full-load step response within 5 ms. This capability perfectly adapts to the drastic 0–100% load fluctuation of GPU clusters. Equipped with short-circuit constant current support and pulse-width modulation technologies, it fully meets the stringent requirements of intelligent computing centers for power quality and grid connection.

The launch of Helios 2.0 marks WG Energy’s official foray from peripheral scenarios including charging stations, energy storage and distribution networks into the core power supply segment of AIDCs. The company has now become one of the few enterprises worldwide capable of delivering complete medium-voltage direct-connect SST solutions for intelligent computing centers.

Strategic Cooperation Signing:

Building a Full Industrial Chain Ecosystem

In the afternoon of the opening day, WG Energy signed strategic cooperation agreements with eight organizations, covering standard certification, energy investment, local government cooperation, power grid collaboration and global market expansion.

Cooperation with TÜV Rheinland New Energy: The two parties will carry out in-depth collaboration on international certification, standard formulation and global market access for SST products, accelerating the overseas expansion of WG Energy’s SST portfolio.

Cooperation with Xinbei District People’s Government of Changzhou: The two sides will jointly construct a professional SST production base for AIDC scenarios in Changzhou, which will be implemented in phases within the next three years. Teaming up with the Kunshan base, it will build a world-class SST manufacturing hub in the Yangtze River Delta.

Cooperation with six industrial partners: Including Changzhou Longcheng New Energy Co., Ltd., Luzhou Energy Investment Co., Ltd., Zhongtian Broadband Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Hengzhida New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Zelian Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Beijing Ruiyao Technology Co., Ltd. The partners will jointly promote project cooperation and market promotion in integrated PV-storage-charging systems, heavy-duty truck ultra-fast charging stations, microgrids and zero-carbon parks, advancing the large-scale application of SST across multiple industries.

These cooperation deals signify that WG Energy has entered a new stage from individual technological breakthroughs to ecosystem collaboration across the full industrial chain.

03
Dual Production Bases: Kunshan & Changzhou
Creating the Worlds Largest SST Manufacturing Cluster

In terms of production capacity layout, WG Energy is building a dual-base manufacturing system consisting of Kunshan and Changzhou.

Driven by the booming market demand for SST, the existing production capacity of WG Energy’s Kunshan base can no longer satisfy surging orders. The Phase II capacity expansion project is currently in progress. Meanwhile, the professional SST production base in Changzhou, focusing on high-end scenarios such as AIDCs, is being accelerated for construction.

The two bases feature complementary advantages and coordinated operation. Upon full commissioning, WG Energy’s total annual production capacity of SSTs will exceed 40 GW, ranking the company among the world’s most powerful SST manufacturers. This robust production capacity will strongly underpin the dual transformation of computing infrastructure and power systems.

04
Standardization First & International Certification

Accelerating Global Expansion

The strategic partnership with TÜV Rheinland is a pivotal step in WG Energy’s global development strategy. As a world-leading third-party testing and certification body, TÜV Rheinland will provide technical support for the safety, performance and reliability certification of WG Energy’s SST products, facilitating the acquisition of international qualifications such as IEC and UL certification.

In addition, WG Energy has actively participated in the formulation of multiple industrial and association standards for SST, driving the industry transition from technological exploration to standardized commercial application. The company adheres to the philosophy of open collaboration. Guided by international standards, it will accelerate the large-scale deployment of SST products in global computing centers, new energy power stations, heavy-duty truck charging stations and smart flexible distribution networks.

Conclusion

The fruitful achievements on the first day of SNEC 2026 fully validate WG Energy’s four-in-one development strategy integrating technology, industry, capital and ecosystem. From the technological breakthrough of Helios 2.0 SST and the establishment of an ecosystem with eight strategic partners, to the ambitious plan of building dual production bases with hundred-billion-level capacity, WG Energy is reshaping the underlying architecture of the new power system with Solid-State Transformer technology at its core.

In the future, WG Energy will stay committed to its vision of Your trusted partner in Solid State Transformer and Battery Energy Storage System. Working with global partners, the company will deliver efficient, reliable and eco-friendly power core solutions for the computing era and maximize the value of every kilowatt-hour of electricity.
